Did she puff up and growl at you when you went to get the eggs from her?
I couldnt get to her. But I decided to leave the eggs (in hope for a broodiness in a couple of days) she went to roost though. Maybe she is thinking about it. This bunch has never not laid in the boxes.........
Maybe :) we'll hope so! I know how badly you want a broody!
Is it possible ya think? She is the type I would consider the brooding type..........

Yeah...I tortured DD for a good long couple hours and when it started to rain she wanted to go in...but I didn't let her. I made her stick through till the end. She'll learn to do it right the first time EVEN WHEN I DON'T HAVE TIME TO CHECK UP ON HER! :smack

Yeah its possible. Im watching that nest tommorow if a third egg pops up, I may lay an egg. But if a hen doesnt hurry up and brood, the ducks are gonna have a fun time on the nests this summer. Im getting me a start off of my cousins Orps. And a BO roo, big red is getting old. He seems older not his normal self.
