I sold 17 more birds today I have more on the bators now. The guy that is buying keeps wanting more more more I'm hatchin as fast as I can!!!

More nasty weather coming. More tornadoes touched down in Missouri earlier, a few in Mississippi, and I think one so far in Tennessee about an hour north of me. Now....I wait for it to get here. :/ On the bright side, the garden sure will appreciate the rain!!! I hope it doesn't get TOO bad here, and wish it would stop being so horrible everywhere else.

We lost power a couple times, trees are down everywhere. Both endsof my road has a tree blocking the road at the moment. Lots of power outages, lines down, lots of wind damage etc. UGH! Thankfully no one has been reported as hurt so far. It got rough here for about 45 minutes to an hour. Now reports of damage is flooding in from ours and surrounding areas. Just saw an electric cooperative truck pass the house :/ Hope we can get out tomorrow.

OMgosh! I just shot a mouse!!!!! These things have been driving me CRAZY since they cut the field across from us...coming in like mad, and leaving little gifts and nastiness in their wake. So I see on under the edge of the piano, and I eased over to get the BB gun, and plugged the little turd It didn't kill him :/ however...I didn't realize a mouse could jump so high. I give him a 10 on the somersault

Maybe I should go to bed? That was just too funny...which is kind of sadistic I think

Yeah it IS scary indeed, finally completely blown out now though. WHEW! Hallelujah!

Thought we were in a tornado at one point, wind was blowing the trees every direction and lightning so bad it made it look like daylight outside at 11 o'clock! No hail this time though. I hope my garden survived

Apparently That ^^^ was when a tornado was going overhead. It hit about 12 miles north of us, and did a little damage. Thankfully everyone up that way is okay though. I wish this storm season would hurry up and get finished. :/

Went to mom's today and started putting up her chicken run. Dug about 12 post holes and sunk those. We have about 3 left to drop, and then run the wire. Would've gotten it done today, but it started raining on us so I get to finish it up by myself tomorrow. Niecey helped me while DH, brother, and the old man went to brithers house to get a bed and one of the gates for the chicken run. We got 5 post holes dug, posts dropped, plumbed, and packed in while they were gone. Niecey knows how to use a level and post hole diggers now, and she earned a few bucks in the process Not too shabby for a 7 year old girl and myself. I told her those "boys" don't think we can handle it, but we sure showed them a thing or two. She was so tickled, it was cute, made my day I love doing stuff with her. When the "boys" pulled up we were finished with the front posts and sitting on the ground under a shade tree casually sipping our Sprites. She looked up and said really serious, "GOOD! Now ya'll can get to work!" and happily stomped off toward the house
She's a trip!

who me? I wouldn't put that stuff in her head She's SEES with her own 2 eyes how lazy brother and the old man are. she thinks "Unky Jason" is cool though I just say she's a smart kid
