 I get a little emotional sometimes about my chocolate. :weee
It's rough finding chocolate that is definitely safe with that allergy, and I really don't need head to feet hives. Got them once from a cookie that must have had "traces of peanut". waaaaaaaaaa

Hives like that are no fun. I had them once. Only thing the doctor could figure that it could be was sulfa drugs. I had just finished a prescription of them, and they're known for having a delayed reaction. The only way to check for sure was to put me back on them. I said no thanks, and have avoided sulfa drugs since.

I got a panic attack over a brownie the other day because the stupid nuts were "processed on equipment that may contain traces of soy" :barnie It's SOOOO annoying to get sick from just eating. I get emotional over chocolate too....I almost cried when I saw those glorious bags of chocolatey goodness that had been laying on the shelf waiting for ME their whooooole little chocolatey delicious lives. It was a heart warming experience to give them a great home...very touching indeed.

Anyway.....I got the boys room completely painted today :woot I had to mix the paint myself, that we had was too dark for that size room, so I mixed in some white and it's PERFECT! It looks like hot cocoa...good thing I got those chocolate chips yesterday it made me hungry  I made two loaves of bread that is just delicious! AND I had company come interrupt again...never fails...haven't had company all week  Then my phone kept ringing off the hook too, btu I got finished in SPITE of everybody calling and dropping by :p

Denim- I hope the hives didn't last long on you. They drive me crazy.

I bet that home was in your belly. yummmm Cocoa walls ... hmmm that reminds me- heads to cupboards to see if we have cocoa powder. A cuppa would be nice on this chilly day.

It was on a Sunday that I got them! And, I had been to a baby shower the day B4. They drove me crazy for several hours. I honestly didn't think I'd be able to get my allergist, but finally broke down and called him. He told me what I could take, told me to come in the next day, and write down EVERYTHING that I had eaten the day B4. I had to call everyone up that had brought food to find out what all was in it. And, since I hadn't eaten anything unusual, all he could come up w/were the drugs. I called the doctor that had prescribe them and he told me I had had sulfa drugs B4 w/out any problems and since I was allergic to penicillin, it was what he normally gave me. I'm NOT allergic to penicillin, my hubby is! I never went back to that doctor again.
