I hauled two loads of steel today, got a few loads of laundry washed and put away, cooked a big supper and am about to be down for the count! I broke two nails off in the quick in the past two days :/ The first load today I had to back up on the scales and give some guys a jump to be able to weigh in and broke on off there when I pulled the hood latch and it HURT like CrAzY! Yesterday I had broken one putting some yogurt in an elderly ladies car :hu Then I started loading the second load and gashed my index finger open on some steel. Maybe I should sit out tomorrow?!

All in all it was a great day, made some cash. I found a GREAT deal at WalMart for a gift for the little troll ;) They had $80 portable DVD players for $39, so I picked one up for her :D It may be all she gets...but it's a nice gift. I figure she can watch a movie in her room to get away from the other kids when they start getting on her nerves. I think it was a good idea anyway. :hu I hope she likes it, it's not anything she has asked for. We made a decent ammount today, so I splurged to grab it for her. I sure hope when she is older she appreciates things like that. We still have to make up the gas money for two trips to Kentucky, and a few other things for here to pass the homestudy, so I can't get her anything else right now until we get some of this other stuff taken care of. It sure is nice to have been able to FINALLY buy a Christmas gift though!! I'll be glad when things are back halfway to "normal" around here!

Thanks Jamester :) I am glad you approve since you two are close in ages!

I still have not gotten in touch with their case worker yet :rant Those folks almost never answer their phone. It has taken me 3 weeks calling to get ahold of the one I thought I was supposed to be talking to only to find out they changed case workers and NOW I can't get ahold of him :th It's NUTS! They are terribly busy though I am to understand. They have ahd major cutbacks in their department, and less workers for all the cases now :hu Sure doesn't make this process any easier though. I'm thinking the way it's going it will be AFTER Christmas now. A blessing in a way, but .....I'm anxious to get them here and get them in school and stuff. When they get here it will be a ZOO for the first month or so just getting them settled in.

Yeah, I think it will be better for you all if they come after Christmas. And another good point about getting them after Christmas is the school situation, they will come back right when the new grading period starts and new units. Plus wont be behind as bad, so there are many good things about that.

Have you seen the latest HP movie?

Bee yeah my high octane has went to poop this afternoon  And YES I HATE to break nails :barnie It is the worst possible most aggravating injury! I am pecking the keyboard with my NOT sore fingers tonight!

James, yeah it is a better time frame for them to adjust. I think them being on break and being able to visit without the stresses of school will be a good thing in the long run. Then we will have to jump in and get their transcripts and get them registered quick fast and in a hurry after the holidays. THEN I will get their insurance straightened out and get them a good thorough check up after the beginning of the year. Then dental visits etc. and go from there. January is going to be borderline insanity!
