Oh no! What a bummer! And you were so excited about them. But the food processor sounds great!

Merry Christmas!

Well I really feel bad for the bunny. Her body was obviously not ready for the babies or I doubt she woulda murdered them like that. *sigh* It happens. I'll give her some extra care and rebreed her next month. I need to make sure she is healthy. I think they have an imbalance or something when they do that. I have a friend who had a doe that would have 12 babies and kill 4 every single time she was bred. Why? I guess she could only feed 8 :hu God knows what He's doing, and I trust there was a reason...it's just aggravatin :/

That makes complete sense when you think about it. Sometimes we (read, I) let emotions get in the way of the bigger picture. God has a reason.

you might want to add some calf manna to the feeding regime (about a tablespoon a day) to help her build back up
it was reccomended by a few show and meatie breeders.

Cool thanks for that tip Pinky! I was going to get some anyway, because it was recommended for my doe to boost her back up after kidding too. So I need to get it soon anyway.
