Just glue some hair clippings on your face...and hire a contractor...wait no, don't hire a contractor, then it would take two years and twice as much money..

Or MY hubby...he tries, but....*sigh*

He didn't measure for the plastic before he sent me for it. So now we have overlap, and have to figure a way to close the seams...basically wound up with double thick plastic on the darn thing because it is a foot too short for the sides :rant

It's up, and looks downright pitiful. I need to get PVC to make the middle tight, and something to seal it.

The door and windows aren't in yet. I still have strawberries growing in my livingroom, and I feel worse since being in the wind all day.

He did get a load of stuff moved for his brother.

I sold 10 hens, a male turkey, that devil rabbit, and 7 chicks today. That should give me enough for the necessary finishing materials for the greenhouse and buy me a few more pots and seed starter.

The eggs I started the other day are already sold as soon as they hatch, provided they hatch..I sold them today in advance :D The guy wants all my hatches for this Spring. :D :D I can deal with that!

I am NOT selling any more hens though! NONE! NADA! This last round will leave me the Delaware's and the Australorps, and the Tetras. I may sell the Tetras after this summer, but I am not selling any more now.

I need to get some more of the Del's hatched out and going for the Fall too. And I have an order for 2 dozen in a few weeks :D

Farming is beginning to pay off :woot

It's a new hybrid layer exclusive to TSC started last year. They're really good!! I love the ginormous eggs they lay DAILY. With a little investigation last year I found out about them and their cross. I forget the name of the hatchery, but it is not an American hatchery. They are supposedly some sort of cross between RIR and White Leghorn. It's not a straight up cross though, because I can't duplicate it :/ I only have 3 of those hens for egg layers, and boy do they! If I didn't like my Del's so much i'd have a bunch of the Tetras. They have a GREAT feed conversion!
