Got a feeling this spring is going to bring alot of storms with it...

Yeah it'll be in and out before we can blink. These storms are moving FAST!! 65 mph tornadoes in KY. That's pretty darn quick.

I almost went to TN with my mom and sister. They got there just in time for these storms to come blowing in.

Quarter size hail. BIL just came through baseball sized hail headed home from West of us. That was scary

I'm in shock..we were denied. We won't be getting the kids unless we win the appeals process, and I dunno if we will or not. Part of the reason was our income, it seems unemployment doesn't count. The other part is what hurts so bad, and I believe I know who is behind it. The call they recieved, supposedly they now have recieved "multiple" calls that this wouldn't be a good home to place children. Something that bugs me though...ANYONE can call, ANYONE can make claims with or without any evidence. NOBODY has bothered to speak with the child who IS in the home and ask her anything about what life here is like. Aren't they required by law to check into these things?! So we were denied, and we are appealing...who knows how long that process will take. DH is mad, and suprisingly DD is disappointed. As much as she says she doesn't want them to come, she really does, she's just being a dumb teenager. It's how she deals with stress.

After that call I got another call that my grandma was admitted into the hospital...possibly with a heart attack. I know everything happens for a reason, but WHAT is the reason for all this?! I am at a total loss. I've been crying for an hour, and I just can't stop. My feelings are hurt, I'm worried about grandma, and just shocked at the way our afternoon has taken a turn. I'm supposed to be fixing dinner right now, but nobody is even hungry anymore I want to call the kids but it's storming up there right now where they are.

I just don't get it.....

Praying for you! I don`t know what to say...I hate children`s services...ugh, have seen many people have run ins with them before, including myself. They just never seem to make the right choices and they`re judgements are SO FAR off it`s unreal. Don`t take anything personally with them...is there any way to find out if it is the same people calling them.
Praying for your grandmother, that she regains her health quickly, and praying that you make it through the storms that are in your area.

I still don't know what to think about all of it :/ I've been on the phone for the last hour with the foster mom in KY. She is supposed to call back and let me talk to the kids here shortly. Her son called in and I let her go to talk to him. I guess we'll see what happens.
