Oh they're so KYOOT!! They are both white/cream color, and the buck has a brown dorsal stripe. Both are blue eyed, both from different sets of parents so no inbreeding The doe is sweet, the buck is...not sweet He stinks like a buck, and has attitude to match the scent He'll settle down though given time and working with him. He's just young and obviously in rut right now. All in all, not a bad deal at all, and I have paperwork that came with them showing the breeder farm info and what they've had since birth. The buck will be a year old on 4-30 and the doe is a couple months behind him. She has been exposed all this time, so may be pregnant :/ I guess I'll see. I don't particulcarly like that, but for the price of $100 for both of them...I'll get over it They're some of the prettiest small goats I've seen around here, and they're actually Nigerians, not Pygmy's....dunno why I keep sayin Pygmy, that girl got me saying it, and it stuck in my head Anyway, I am pleased with them They'll work out nicely I believe!
Umm they were just up the road from me, about 5 minutes away We tied them in the back of the truck and drove really slow coming home since I didn't have a carrier big enough for them right now. They did pretty well. We got them home, took them some hay, and FINALLY got them some water. DD....that child some days can NOT SEE! Sent her to get a bucket, she walked around 3 of them and said she couldn't find one She didn't want to help, but wouldn't it make more sense to just not prolong it?!? Sheesh...she's starting again...slowly but surely...and we've been getting along SO well Anyway, they have settled in nicely, and Kita has formally introduced herself with a big barkfest to let us know of the intruders. Again... DH even likes these goats! Can ya believe it?!
