Hope you finish the fence today so it is less to do over the weekend!!!!
Thanks Snappy! I think we can get it done :) I'll still have a long weekend though. This house is a wreck, and for once, I'm kinda glad it is :p

I really do understand your predicament! I've dealt with it quite often in this lifestyle we have had. (and the tiny home) Right now, it is about perfect with him being gone about half a day. When things aren't to my liking I just remember that --everything changes! It just never stays the same so if I don't like it today, tomorrow or next month it will be different anyway. As DH says, "Just relax and enjoy the ride"! Hope that helps your attitude for today!

*hugs* too....I'm happy when hubby does side work to make extra money but I'm not happy about him not being here in order to do it. I miss him, the kids miss him, and we are generally grumpy too. :hugs

lori I KNOW! We'll all be "generally grumpy" with him gone, and I don't look too forward to it. It'll be fine though, we did it for 8 years prior, and we're all still alive

I am TIRED. I just offloaded another truck, after loading it, and now I have to offload a load of steel and go back and load more food, and then offload again :barnie  I wanna sit in the AC for a while!!

I think the fence will have to wait until tomorrow. Nothing I can do about it. Then I have what little bit of produce I kept to put up too, and DD's chores this weekend to catch up since she can't do much with that nasty finger. Goodness...I don't think I'll have time to worry much about the stuation with DH. I like being busy, but wish it'd come more evened out rather than mad spurts of rush here rush there. I think God knows I need something to take my mind off it for a few days though. So even though I am so worn out already it is welcomed.

I took the neighbor boy with me to do all the running this morning because he likes hanging out with me, and mommy needed a break from at least one of them. He had a blast! :D The guy was so impressed with a 4 year old working to help unload, that he gave him a quart of his fresh strawberries. That tickled that kid to death! He's such a sweet boy! I didn't think he'd be able to lift those totes, but he wanted to help SO bad I couldn't tell him no. He really suprised me! He lifted the totes and carried them into the cooler one at a time all by himself :ep He's stout! It was so cute though, you could tell he was super proud of himself, and his "pay" for helping. He took his berries home and shared them with his twin sister. When I left both of them had strawberry juice running down to their elbows  Kids are so precious :) He wouldn't share his chips or his suckers from the bank, but there was plenty of berries to go around

Break is over...gotta get crackin to get done before dark today!!! I hope the rest of the day goes as smoothly as it has so far :fl

I can relate! Only 1 1/2 - 2 years of it here, but I was sick of it the first week! I've only 'flipped out' about it once (told him I did NOT get married to be a single parent :p ) and I felt so bad about it after. It is a hard way to live, on everybody involved. I am proud of my hubster for doing whatever it takes to take care of his family/pay our bills (as I'm sure you are), but :barnie
Keep your chin up and remember, he's only thinking of doing it because he loves you and DD. :hugs

PS. DH just told me last night they are going to 6 days/week until further notice :somad

Well I still didn't get done before dark, and now it's dark and I STILL have a ton of work to do :hu Sheesh...maybe I should get a job so I can have a vacation  I just finished offloading the last truckload. Do you have any clue how hard it is to get rid of a pallet of grapefruit?! It's HARD! But I did it. I do have some to juice, but I got rid of most of them. I'm now down to 10 bags, and I am NOT letting them go to waste. I just can't give away any more. Nobody wants them!

So I have that to do, asparagus to clean and freeze, squash to slice and freeze, and grapefruit to squish :D I also have tomatillos to puree and freeze for pico de gallo and salsa verde and stuff. I hope I have room for it. I also have two flats of strawberries to put up. I'm making jam, but I think i'll clean them all up and pop them in the frezer until tomorrow. They are pretty overripe at this point, so I have to do something with them TONIGHT. Maybe at least I can get in bed at a semi decent hour....we'll see :)

I hope everyone else has had a productive day as well!!
