I will be here full time (mostly) for the next two weeks, I will be on alert. I haven't got them yet, but will probably get them Monday at auction.

Momma was probably not getting enough feed while nursing. Lots of does look absolutely horrible when nursing a bunch of kids and fill back out nicely after the kids are weaned.

House/yard/pen cleaning today. I have to go get a pup at the flea market for a friend of mine who has been looking for a LGD. It's a weird cross, half New Foundland, 1/4 Collie, and 1/4 Mountain Curr....but hey, it's free, and those are all herd/farm dog breeds. Mutts generally have a pretty good disposition IME too, so I think it'll be just what he needs to keep the coons and skunks ran off his place.

I was s'posed to get some RIR pullets on the cheap to resell but I am broke. House payment and refilling the oxy/acet bottles and a few groceries did me in this week at nearly $700 :th And I still have tithes to pay. Maybe my money will be right next week to do a little something and see if we can get built back up a little. I'd be rich if I could just stop paying bills :p

I got soooooooo much work to do though. I better get on it. :frow

Soooooo some idiot decided to leave a campfire without making sure it was out, so the woods for about a mile on our side of the road has been ablaze most of the day  Triggered my asthma, got DH's allergies/asthma stirred up too with all that crap burning out there. UGH...some folks need to stay out the woods if they can't do better than that.

Anyway, church was good this morning. The boy was here all day, but I dropped niecey 1 off on the way home and called SIL to come get niecey 2 when we got home. The girls had a good time though, and niecey 1 is crushing on DD's boyfriend, and it was pretty hillarious considering she is half his age  I gotta get that kid in check, she can't be boy crazy at 8 years old!

Speaking of...I think I need to get DD in check too. Not sure how to handle it or what should be considered "offensive" or "out of bounds" with her and the boy. I have no problem with them holding hands. They're 15 and 16. I have no problem with them kissing. Again, 15/16, it's pretty typical. I have no problem with their silliness that goes with young relationships......buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut BOTH of them are already dropping the "I love you" as casually as if they're saying hello....ummm what?! :hu Is that completely weird or what? They have been "dating" for not even a week. They have been "talking" for longer, but still...really? this soon? you love him? he loves you? Come on?! I know...they're just dumb kids, and all the more reason to not be just tossing that out there so soon, right? OR......am I just being overprotective, overly sensitive, or whatever you'd call it? I don't even know what to call it, I just know I don't much care for it. Meh...maybe I'm just old? ........  Nahhhhhhh, that couldn't be it :gig
