Well I think I'm gonna hit the bath and then bible study and on to bed. It has been a long weird day. Strangely enough though, I'm still pretty darn happy tonight. Gonna quit while I'm ahead

Goodnight folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have one or three of those types in my family too :D Nothing is ever their fault, they get themselves into a mess and then can't understand why everybody isn't racing over (with piles of money for them) to help out :p

ALL of my in-laws are like that :rant

Today was good. I made another batch of apple butter, and made some barbecue sauce for the neighbors, weeded the garden, done two loads of clothes, hauled a small load of steel, entertained DD's boyfriend, took him home, got a refill on the oxygen tank, and made the BEST ever homemade biscuits for breakfast...so good in fact we had leftovers for lunch  Seriously, if you folks get the chance, try using heavy cream with a tablespoon of vinegar to sour it, in place of buttermilk. They were SO light and fluffy and........ :drool

I have 40 ish heads of lettuce, about 30 pounds of jalapenos, a bushel of green beans, and 8 bunches of celery. I am drying some celery, stuffing some jalapeno poppers and canning some more green beans.....but I have no idea what to do with all that lettuce. I've gave a bunch away already.

Well, you could seal some in jars to help it last longer, but that wouldn't eliminate very many heads. Maybe see if you can break the world record for largest salad? :D
