I didn't go help today. I sent R in the car instead. I've gotta learn to say "no" occassionally :/ I hate that word though I just have SO much to do HERE to get ready for the farmer's market!! I spent time in the mom cave getting a good showing of dirt under my nails this morning I planted basil, oregano, rosemary, sage, cilantro, green onions, lettuce, and some other stuffs I can NOT wait for all of it to start popping up Radishes are looking good, as is the spinach. I have a ton more stuff to get started this week, and the week is almost over
I came in about 1 and cooked up some chicken and fresh rolls for lunch. I'm stuffed, and DH is as well. Once my lunch settles, I'm headed back out there for a bit....after some ice cream I have a lot more work to do yet today, and I'm having FUN I cooked enough food for dinner as well, so I can skip that chore today.
Ya'll pray for us!!! R got approached today while handing out one of our new business cards...a worker for the nursing home, kitchen food buyer, wants us to supply the fresh veggies for the season That is a LOT of produce! If we can get on contract with them, word of mouth will get us a few more contracts and we're in business big time then!! I hope we can work with her on this, that would be amazing!!
Oh and Bro M sent all three of us, myself, DH, and R some really nice first responder style jackets. These things are so awesome, 16 pockets, zipered vents in the sides, nice and cozy warm, waterproof, the works. DH has always wanted one of those jackets for work, but at a price tag of around $300...we never could get him one. These three are brand new AWESOME! I love Bro M He's so sweet and thoughtful
ETA: Got so excited about those jackets I forgot, he sent me some office supplies to, to get us organized AND MORE PLANTERS!!!!
