We cannot discuss it, I know, but I can't help to add one thing. If the creature had been moved out of immediate danger and tucked into the grass, the MIA mom would have been back to reclaim.

I agree with the one post....sounds like someone just wanted a cute thing to coddle and raise. Not smart.

Maybe said Creature had been scared up by a coon or fox of sorts and was looking for Creature's mother? Not every baby Creature is just going to be laying around no matter what..

In the photos Creature looked a bit mangy anyway.

Ok, I leave you guys for a few hours yesterday and when I get back, I have no idea what in the blue blazes any of you are gabbing about. Could someone PM me and clue me in? I hate being the last one to know what is going on.

I filled Aidenbaby in...:) We were just being silly yesterday afternoon when there was only 8-11 folks on SS. As Ticks said it was totally G rated. (I did feel like a teenager again though, thanks guys.)

Over at BYC I am "Sallyschickens". I keep quiet most of the time because I hate to be in the middle of conflicts, and there seems to be some, well, "strong minded folks" over there. My method of interacting at BYC is what I call "lurk and search" so I wont have to "duck and cover". I love the ramblings section though. Those online chicken show contests are a hoot!
