Oh well. I was hoping we might have a prince charming candidate pop up overnight. Have aliens abducted all the responsible 30-something men???

I just discovered that if you clear all the sent messages, wow, it clears it right up!

Ya know....
I might really just have a guy for you. Only problem I foresee is that he lives here in Mississippi.
He's a nerd, loves old movies & kid's cartoons, is a comic book fan, can quote many of them.
He's cute, with black hair, chiseled jawline, about 5'11", slim but freakishly strong (he once lifted me one handed like I weighed about 10 pounds. I was pregnant and weighed more like 160).
He wears glasses or contacts.
He can draw.
He's 35, a Cancer.
He's thoughtful.
He likes Firefly, although he can't spout off quotes from it.
He's an air conditioning installer/repairman (thus mechanically inclined)
He goes by the name Fester around DH's family, since his last name is Adams and he shares my hubby's first name. They've been friends since middle school.
He's very shy, has social anxiety disorder and most of the women who know him apparently consider him too nice & gentlemanly to date seeing as how they'll date jerks and then come cry to him when their feelings get hurt.
He's worked for the same company for almost 10 years, and he's thinking of branching out to his own company with a few co-workers.
:pop
ETA: I don't think he's ever hatched a dragon tho...

If you could find such a good candidate he probably would be an alien or yes, been abducted by some. If he had been abducted and made it back, he would be perfect for Abi. :gig

Edited because my fingers can't find the right keys this morning.

OMG..you really do get Abi don't you? :gig

Noobie, if abi doesn't want him, he might be perfect for my sister! LOL

Imagine a very short, sturdier version of abi physically with my personality. Abi and my sister look more a like than my sister and I do and we have the same parents :D

She has always fallen for super smart guys, but she always seems to find ones that are super smart AND complete jerks. A geeky smart NICE guy would be a good change :D And she wants kids...so maybe Bert is back on the list but for a different woman! (Kris wants kids too)

Its really difficult to meet nice single guys. I lucked out - totally and I ain't letting this one go! :gig

Our meeting was really odd, I was bored, friday night 1996 and went with a friend of mine to watch her play soccer - co-ed team. And hot DAMN that goalie of theirs was SO HOT. :gig His brother came and got my phone number (not for himself), and we later met at a bar after a game. he thought I was gay because all my friends were.. :gig :gig :gig We did hit it off, and have been together ever since. :weee :weee :weee He was in his early 20's back then, and yeah still living with his parents - so I had to fix that part... but the rest was pretty darn perfect!

Love her hair! :) He's actually coming over this weekend :D

I don't know what his take is on kids. I know he likes them, but I don't think he has a burning desire to procreate.
I never really understood why women wanted to date jerks :hu

A lot of guys can hide the jerk part for a little while. Eventually it does come out though. A good reason for a long period of casual dating.
