Awesome! 40s! So it is similar to here in the midwest that when it hits 40s people wear tshirts and shorts?

We don't own shorts.
But 60s mean the boys are dragging and think they will die from heat prostration.

My mom had a rule we couldnt wear shorts to school when the temperature was below 60. Pretty sure my siblings and I are still resentful over that

one of the residence hall counselors would wear shorts and wooden shoes all winter. yes, he was quite the character. one time he fell asleep in the student lounge which had a fireplace and someone took his wooden shoes and burned them. no idea who. wasn't me. i wood ent do anything like that.

Huge storms here last night, they were measuring 70 mph winds. Waiting until it is light out to see the damage. With this storm, it also bought hot and humid weather, supposed to be a heat index of 97 today.

no damage here. Taking its sweet time to warm up (thankfully!) Not even 70 yet. I was able to get groceries and plant bulbs. Veggie garden next. I can work when it gets hot this afternoon...
