chances of rain for today and tomorrow. i have a not fun job inside that needs to be done (clean up some black mold before it gets worse) so these might be a good few days to do that. i hate the smell of bleach.

oh yay! it turns out it wasn't black mold at all. instead it is some part of the dryer that is crumbling and so i didn't have to bleach it or anything. do i feel great about having some part of the dryer falling apart and crumbling out the back? not really. considering all the other issues we've had with this washer/dryer unit i'd have already thrown it out along side the road if i could lift it.

It is 105 today. Only maybe 8inch of rain in over month. When we get a chance of rain it goes around where I live. We need a,nice soak or we will have alot of trees to cut down this winter. Trees are looking bad and my garden looks so sad. Small Chance of rain tomorrow and all weekend we can only hope and pray it dont go around.

i hope you get some rains soon! without the well here we'd have probably already given up. i've watered everything in the gardens multiple times per week for the past few months except the strawberry patch. now the strawberry patch is almost completely brown except a few plants here or there - it's ok, the whole thing needs some work and renovation.

the biggest crops we grow are the tomatoes and beans. i don't want to lose those so i keep them watered. they are worth the time and $ since we do get so much back from them.

We have had a crazy spring/summer. Rain going around then the next day with 20% chance would sit on top of us and the hay gets well washed. We got all our 1st cutting done, and have had rain the last several days. A couple of .1 showers.. then 1 inch in the gauge on Monday and another 1.85 inches last night. Got another downpour today, and radar shows more coming. Not complaining .... our wheat has not gotten combined yet so that is a concern... but the pastures and regrowth on the hayfields has been real good and our corn is looking very good.
More is better than not enough.....
