An other sub zero night, with day time temps likely to get up to "too cold for man or beast".

My greatest challenge in this cold weather: keeping my seedlings and sowed seeds comfortable! We have (hopefully) a guy coming to replace the oil furnace in 3 weeks. Praying the wood pile lasts until then.

Pleasantly surprised with today's weather: high of 25. So, I played outside a bit: refilled the bird's sand box in the coop. Put 100# of feed into the feed barrel, mixed 2 buckets of FF, Opened the coop people door. The girls are enjoying the sunshine, lounging and pooping on the coop steps. I even scooped dog poo out of the foot paths. Not warm enough to clean perches. Hopefully, this weekend, or next week.

We're cooling down some, but it's still good

The weekend snow is centered closer to the Ohio River Valley, we are on the northern fringe of the snow line. Another blast of frigid air coming with this.

This is the best they're offering me thus far. Basically they don't know!
