Interesting way to end the workday. Cold front moving through spawned multiple tornado warnings. Fortunately very little reported damage and the only confirmed touchdown was about 15 miles away. One heading for us was only radar indicated rotation and fizzled out before it got here.

Need to practice crating the cats. It was a bit of an adventure...and the wife's southern tornado PTSD.

All clear

Blah...

Not good stress level.

But,glad there were no touch downs.

Cold here today folks! 28 degrees, finally made it to below zero. I bet my chickens think they are in the twilight zone as it is their first winter.

Glad to hear you are ok @FarmerJamie! Tornados are the worst, so unpredictable and scary.

We went back to fall, I am so glad!!!!

Rained a bunch last night and washed away most of the ice and snow.

Super frosted cars today, so not warm, but not full winter.

I tell you what, I have next to no trust in the weather forecast. This is 2021 you would think we could get past "weather guessing". All week long the forecast called sunny for this weekend. This Friday afternoon they changed it to 50% chance of rain. Wife said you still pulling fence tomorrow? My response YES, at this current moment, unless they change it again. I have a 50/50 chance of being able to

light rain this morning. looks like a bean shelling day. cold enough last night to get near frost but not below.

Rained yesterday afternoon, had a boomer roll through about 1:00 AM. Pretty nice today tank top weather, though muddy and windy. There is now another boomer fixing to roll through. Fantastic light show moving in from the west. I'm sitting on the front porch, in a rocking chair drinking a nice glass of water watching the fantastic light show. I hope I don't get blown off the porch the winds are whipping from the south. Wife, dogs and all animals accounted for. All are safe and secure, nothing left to do but enjoy the show

Edit... So windy now, the flagpole is waving in the wind and ringing like a bell. We are heading for the basement, it's safer there.
