Hi,
I am looking into buying some Weck canning jars wholesale. I am just at the beginning stages of this, so I don't want to get anyones hopes up. But, if the minimum order is not too huge, I may order them and then sell what I don't need at cost. Is anyone interested in getting some?

They are really nice jars. But my budget dictates that I get my canning jars as cheap as possible. Thanks for the offer.

I am used to the Ball type jars. How does the seal work and how easy is it to check for safety?

They are beautiful jars!

Beautiful jars!

They cost quite a bit, though. I wouldn't be able to afford to put anything in them.

They'd be gorgeous with fruit preserves, though! Maybe if they came WITH fruit preserves in them... ;)

They work basically the same. But instead of a screw-down band, the glass lid is clamped on during processing.

Yes, they are gorgeous, and expensive. That's why I am trying to get some wholesale!

There are 16 jelly jars on ebay right now, bid is at $26 as of this moment. Too rich for my blood, but I agree, they are stunning! I love glass jars anyways, so this is very tempting. Unfortunately, our counter finally rotted away from underneath quite sneakily and the cast iron sink is falling, held up by quickly cut scraps of wood until we can replace counter, sink, and faucet in a hurry.....$$$$$$! Then we got home from our trip and dh's car was dead as a doornail. It was really on borrowed time for the past few YEARS, but it is totally dead now. So no fancy jars for me at this time.

:hit

Just curious, though...what pricing are you hoping for?

No, I don't have a price in mind. Something more resonalbe than at the Amish store (Lehman's?).

I am following the ebay auction. I really want some for tomatoe canning!!
