Mr. Sunshine
I finally scrounged up enough money to buy us an old tractor. No implements yet, but I will purchase them as I can. Right now, I just ride around the property with (as my wife says) a big, stupid looking grin.
It is an old Ford 9N, with the Sherman (hi/lo) transmission.
We plan to use it for keeping the driveway graded, the orchard cut, and the garden is getting large enough that it will greatly reduce our prep time.
Besides, I believe that there is law somewhere that says if you live in the country, that you must either have to have a tractor, or a pickup truck with a four wheeler in the back (and I didn't want a four wheeler).
