What all do you produce?

Wow I feel so puny in my efforts after seeing these lists... LOL We produce a variety but most of that just puts a dent in what we actually need or produce... (but we just built this house 2 years ago and this is only our 2nd summer here... it's a work in progress)

Garden
Tomatoes
Peppers
Onions
Peas
Tried Spinach and Lettuce Brocolli and the wild rabbits devoured ALL of it!

Fruit
Blackberries
Dwarf Flowering Cherries (stupid bugs ate the most of these) but I got a handful so they are still on my list... LOL
We have a few citrus trees in pots so get a few fruit from them... they are still young so when I say few that's about it... 3-4 LOL
Pomagranit (I never can spell that right)
Lemons
Very Very tart tangerines (might as well be mini lemons...)
I have 6 blueberry plants that bombed this year... I didn't get a single fruit... I at least got a handful last year!
And have a wide variety of fruit trees but they are still babies so hopefully in a few years they will start to bloom and one big stupid banana tree in a pot... we have had him for 4 summers and still have yet to even see a bud let alone fruit (I was told they fruit in 2 years) so I'm seriously thinking of selling him it's a lot of work hauling that pot in each winter cleaning it up and watering it...
I will get some free apples and peaches from my sister-in-law She doesn't can yeah for me! I pay her with a few jars of applebutter...

the occasional old hen or roo for chicken (I may try some meaties next year... just don't have the set up yet this year)

And hopefully deer... If I can get up the nerve to hunt one...

and some day OH!!!! someday.... I will own my own milking animals and maybe produce beef! but if I follow hubby's plans that will be... um... never...

planning on weaving table linens this winter with storebought thread
planning on knitting socks this winter

If anybody says producing poop is easy I'd gently remind them of the painful ways of extracting poop out of said areas and move to poop pile. Lots of work but great fertilizer.

had 400 layers (plus some meats for me in there )
125 hogs on rotating basis
30 black angus
120 Boer goats (meat and milk for soaps)
every southern veggie good for sales
acres of hay or use and sales
acres of corn for use and sales
deer in fridge from hunting


NOW
no garden
all livestock sold except a few angus and some goats left


I buy eggs from down the street from young couple
I buy goat milk for soaps from local young farmer
I still have loads in freezer
I get free tons of veggies from everyone's gardens
free meat from dairy friend Barb


I am in a switch from producing to using but I use carefully.

Well, my list...we just moved here last year so we are getting everything set up still

just started 2 bee hives so no honey till next year
