My DH has volunteered my for stuff a lot of times. Making a cheesecake for a company luncheon, cookies for a meeting, or a set of placemats for a silent auction.

Son and I had a blast, though
I bet ya'll did! My son and I had the best time one year under a truck installing a transmission a few hours before he had a big date! Working together can make ya or break ya! We still talk about that...was during my divorce from his dad and I convinced him I could help him almost as much as his dad - and I did! :) One of my favorite memories with him!

I still have enough left (from last summer) to get me through until tomatoes are ripe for canning this summer. My morning go to: fried egg with salsa, along with a bread product. I have a jar or two of peach salsa left. :drool
