Let's see, I put up 7 qts of green beans Saturday, and 5 qts today. Also put up 26 pints of bone broth today, 10 of turkey & 16 of chicken. Trying to get my freezer cleaned out.

Yeah, that time of year. I have a slab of pork belly to cure and a rack of goat ribs. If I get busy & work the pork, I could cook & smoke with same grill -- pork on smoker side. There's a thought. Now I need to make it happen. LOL Maybe for fourth of July. Yeah, that's about right because it'll take me that long to "get to" salting the pork.

Right now....nothing to can. Still need to use up freezer!

Finished up the beets today. With what I canned last week, I have 23 pints. I had some small onions so I put them in the jars too.

You're telling me, lol! But, I shouldn't have to can chicken again for at least a year!

I think one of the reasons I bought so much is that the dogs like it too and the bones are soft enough for them to eat after pressure canning. Pretty cheap dog food stretcher and it's good for 'em.
