Yard Farmer
We're flying our weather-proof flag. Tried to march in the parade but got there 5 minutes late and the Cub Scout dudes backed out because it was raining. The parade was still going to happen but the passing shower didn't pass and I think they did end up canceling it. So I've got a cd of Sousa marches playing and we're doing housework. We skipped a picnic yesterday and are doing the same today. Neither group was close friends or family and I rarely enjoy those kinds of gatherings (people DH knows through his band). We'll have a nice family dinner, just the three of us. My father isn't speaking to me because he thinks I snapped him while asking for help looking up a phone number over my cell phone. (Long story....)
