Loading the onions into the dehydrator, I see I left one of the trays in there from last time. Doh!

Squirt of onion juice in the eye cutting them, then spilled about 1/3 of a tray on the garage floor, yeah, not my best effort.

Wife has been battling a bad sinus infection this week, hope I am not coming down with it.

I dehydrate tested last week. They're so wet, you have to slice really thin, these were not. I took mine out without being done all way, sauted some and froze. They were easier to handle. Ones I ate -- samples, ya know 🤣 -- had not soaked as much oil, so way less to saute them. Tasted just as good. I often cube, saute, add sauce and melt cheese on top. In a sauce pan for a fast, almost as good as baked Parm. Really thin wouldn't give the soft center we go for, IMO. 🤷 Try and let us know. Your turn.

Slicing apples for drying...ate all the others, so time to get these working. They make great snacks. 😁

I remember my grandma stringing up apple slices to sun dry. Cheese cloth covered for bug protection.

@murphysranch how's that eggplant coming along?
