@CrealCritter the sides are the cheap wooden but in front would like it to be the nice pvc one. I spent 5 on the wooden ones 3 sides. It will be double that for one in the front.:sick:hit

Here's one of the two and a half rows of sweet potatoes we dug yesterday. Hope you can see them off to the right.

finished getting the tomato patch ready for winter (now just have to keep it weeded). buried a lot of tomatoes. no more easy raccoon food inside the fence now - hope they all forget about this season and stay away next year... good luck with that? :)

today is dry bean picking as much as i can get done.

it was a very nice day today with a breeze right up until the end of what picking i could do. then the skeeters came out and that was enough for me. still more dry beans to pick and go through out there but i'm hoping i can get back out there tomorrow to pick more. only a 30-40% chance of rain for tonight... when i want it to rain those chances of rain are usually not enough to get us with rains, but sometimes it does happen. now when i don't really want it to happen there's probably a bullseye painted on our little lot here...

also picked a few melons and had a nice lunch with my brother and Mom. will be sorting beans tonight to see what i have to deal with right away and those that can be put aside in bags as they're dry enough to wait until whenever i get to them.

It's super sad seeing everything slow down and feeling the cold creeping up letting me know the season is almost over 😭
yes I agree--the leaves are just starting to turn here and the honey bees are buzzing like crazy. I picked a raspberry and ate it, does that count as work in the garden, lol?
