i found a praying mantis nest on one of my rose bushes I cut the branch off and put it in my greenhouse they finally hatched

finally got some peas and beans planted. it may be a bit too early for the beans, but we'll see how they do.

so nice to be back out in the gardens.

REALLY NEAT.... never seen them as babies... see lots of big ones around especially when I am bushogging the pastures in the fall...They seem to mostly fly away from the bush hog luckily. Had a couple at the house last year.

Well, even though I am not doing well, I transplanted the tomatoe seedlings from the cells to bigger pots. Maybe in a week, the get stronger not that they have more soil. Will see!

yeppers, chickens love a new plant! They aren't so bad once established plants -- then they will eat a ripe tomato!

They will peck a hole in everyone they can reach. It true, chickens love tomato juice. They don't mess with corn much though.

Oh jeez sounds like fun I realize ya can't always see a nest right off the bat

I see some really long ones in my flower bed along the side of my house they crawl up the wall and up out window screen
