We haven't had rain for weeks, so we've been able to stay ahead of the weeds. It rained a little bit last night and the annual weed seeds are ready to pop up! It's been hard to get garden seeds going between the chipmunks stealing see and DS16 arguing about what "water the garden" means. 🙄

It's sure getting to be that time of year. I had to suck it up yesterday and just deal with it. Had some things I absolutely, positively had to do.

i'm glad you were able to do it!

i reach a point where i get rather nauseated so i try to stop before i reach that stage of being. i'm not in this world to be miserable. until i acclimate more i'll hang out in cooler spots. hopefully in a few more weeks i'll have a few more degrees tolerance.

i have similar conversations with Mom. i try to tell her that if she waters properly then things will do better because deeper roots mean the plants will be able to ride out these hot spells better.

might as well be peeing into the wind...
