We have another 6 weeks before our last "frost date".... May 10th.... Thinking about maybe seed starting in another week or so....
Ours is April 20th. You can check the average last and first forst dates by zip code (easy) here.


We are going to set out everbearing strawberries, peas, potatoes, lettuce, carrots, spinach, onions over the next few days. You know the early stuff...

@R2elk.... we have also gotten frost here on Memorial day... I do not get in too big a rush to get garden in.... Easier for me to do most all of it at one time... try to do some of the "cool weather crops" earlier... but mostly do the major part of it all at once, then do some succession planting to get successive pickings of things like green beans and all... just mulch it all deep and then can pull back the mulch to plant some short rows and such... amazing 250-300 miles difference from me and the eastern side of the state... where @Mini Horses is, has such a big difference in planting/frost dates.
