Tilling is the question. Do I want to or do I need to still have no answers, lol

my answer is the less i can dig (i don't own a tiller any more) the better. a stirup or scuffle hoe can do everything else i need if i don't have to bury anything. i can cover most of the gardens in a pretty short period of work if they are kept in decent condition. as long as the weeds don't get too big it works well. the harder grasses (like quack grass) are always the issue in some gardens and in other gardens i have to do close weeding because i don't want to remove certain plants, but for that i can often get it done quickly enough.

the largest garden i have three kinds of cover crops along the edges and everywhere they have filled in takes much less time to weed but it does have to be done, oh, and i also have to thin out some of the daffodils or they shade it too much.

It rained, and rained. I took one step into the main garden and started sinking. Nope.

New greenhouse is up but not finished. Winecaps are coming up. Chickees pipping.

Replanted moschatas and pumpkins just before the rain started. Chickens winter food storage. I need to replant beans and corn as soon as the ground dries out enough.
