Nothing makes grass grow like rain!!!!
Yay! We got some rain a couple days ago and I swear the grass grew an inch overnight. It helped some of the seedlings pop up too.

I have a volunteer squash in a raised bed full of collards and kale. Today I saw a zucchini on it. Whoop! The way zucchini grows it'll probably be ready to eat by tomorrow.

beautiful day out today. i could get some weeding done and puttering around for a while and the nesting birdies were well behaved. Mom even commented that they did not react much to her being out and working in both garden areas where they've got their nests. :)
