Im so jealous. I have tomato seeds up. They should be ready for transplant to the garden about when it gets warm (and dry) enough.

From the looks of it, it will be June sometime before I can plant the corn. It's a bantam variety so hopefully it will ripe before it gets too cold.

My best looking cabbage so far.

And the 3 rows of cabbages.

I have to remember to start seeds, the begining of July for fall ballhead cabbage.

Onions and beets, lots of skip in the beets, really wet spring, not much I could do about that.

Tomatoes and peppers have taken hold and as always have outgrown the flea beetles

I like to see dark green new growth leaves on peppers, it means to me, that the soil PH is good and has about the right amount of nutrients (N-P-K). My experience is peppers are pretty finicky about their soil. Doubtful the peppers and tomatoes will need any fertilizer this year. So I'll work on mulching them in with hay now.

No need, you'll get there I'm sure. It was such a wet spring. Too wet even for the tractor box tiller. I feel I got a late start this year. I usually have lettuce and spinach direct sowed by the middle of February, followed up by peas in March, but not this year, no way, too wet. I have to replant green beans this coming week, sparse germination, I think the seeds rotted in the wet soil. My wife says it's because she planted them. No, I don't think that was it, honey.

Squash will do well here no matter when I get them in. Summer squash produces until frost killed. Very little issues in the way of pests.

It's pretty much a constantly battle with squash bugs here. I have to keep the vines covered up in Palmolive original (Green) and water mix. I did have one year where they never came. Didn't do anything different, so who knows why this happened? But I usually give up the battle after we get what we need and pull up the vines and burn them in the burn barrel, till well and plant something for fall harvest in the open area. I really would like to try fall climbing peas (english) this year, expecially since I couldn't get them early spring. IDK... we'll see if it works out or not, never tried fall peas before so who knows .

diversity in plantings and diversity in varieties can help for sure.

Got hoop supports up, now to find some clamps. Lettuce and onions are starting to come along.

Also I have tomatoes from the plants started indoors!
