What did you do in your garden today?

I had planned to construct a butterfly and hummingbird garden. This, plus the other work on the list means getting a truckload of topsoil delivered. More tractor time once things dry out.

Anyone know anything about red elderberry? Ive identified one on the property that's blooming pretty good right now. A tiny one has also come up in the silkie courtyard that I'm considering leaving

Mine are black. I've read that the red have more CG but, that this compound is destroyed(??) with cooking. No personal knowledge. Seems the northwest has more reds than here on East Coast. I've never seen any red around here.
