I couldn't give a dollar amount, but I've been doing a lot of bartering for chicken breeds that I want, and I've saved a LOT of money. I mean, like, at least $100's of dollars. Does that count? LOL.

I got two squares of free shingles for stopping to look at a truck Those will come in handy for all the projects we have planned around here

I traded a dozen eggs for by scallops wrapped in bacon, a salad and hot tea. I figure I got the good end of the deal.

Well, it wasn't a lot of bacon. Guy hubby deals w/took him out for dinner. I joined them, and traded him the eggs for my dinner. And, since my dinner costs over $15.00, I figure I make out OK.
