Been gone a few days, but making a quick pizza tonight. Plus made myself a chocolate pudding and working on a new bread recipe...and cleaning cast iron if that counts lol
Saturday was sleep over day. We had waffles slathered in homegrown strawberries. Then 11 year old granddaughter and I went picking black raspberries in the woods. She then cooked and processed 7 cans of black raspberry jelly. I should hear how the jelly turned out soon. One can didn't seal so Gypsy was going to open it when she got home.
If the product didn't jell enough, then Gypsy is already prepared for black raspberry syrup. Yum!
Spent the afternoon at the emergency room again (turns out his wrist is broken, which was why it wasn't getting better like everything else) so I think it's just going to be a green salad with a jar of home canned diced chicken dumped on top and blue cheese vinaigrette dressing. It was nice spending 4 hours in an air conditioned room though...
Tonight is crock pot baked beans and potato salad with farmer's market potatoes since ours aren't ready yet. Last night was home made lasagne with home ground whole-wheat home made noodles, home canned ground bison, home canned tomatoes, and home grown onions/herbs. Night before was BBQ chicken (Hutterite colony raised chicken from the farmer's market) with home grown salad.
