My DH bough a case of oranges from a kid in our neighborhood selling them for a fund raiser. We have eaten a few of them, but I am worried that they will go bad before we eat them all. What can I do with them so that they don't get wasted???

With my husband and I oranges NEVER go bad! Just the two of us ate 40lb of oranges in 3 weeks. :) We were SO healthy too!

Lucky you! I love orange peel candy, too. Even better is to dip half of the candy pieces into dark chocolate.

Then stand back while I'm on my sugar high!

Feel free to ship 'em here. I could polish them off in a flash. I think they'll keep quite a while if they're refrigerated or kept cool.

Yup, marmalade would be my first choice too. If reasonably unwaxed-unsprayed, candied orange peel is super easy to make and extremely tasty, good for giving away to people.

The rest, juice and freeze; or cut segments out and freeze them, they'll be a bit limp after freezing but still 'reasonable' in fruit salad later on.

Good luck, have fun, bon appetit :),
