goats eat orange peels?

My goats will shove each other out of the way for them, and search for dropped pieces. As a treat I have offered them sections with the pulpy part still attached and I have one doeling who spits those out, but they all love peels.

I make it a practice to offer any leftovers to the animals. The chickens actually won't eat orange peels, but my goats love both orange and banana peels.

My kitchen compost pile has stopped growing. There is VERY little that no one will eat. At least I have the yard/manure compost piles.
