My breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Yep I started fasting, yesterday.

Only good ole all grain homebrew liquid bread, sunshine happiness in pint glasses. No water, no coffee, no food. I hope to make it until Friday.

So far so good, no food cravings and no headaches. I actually feel really good and I can sense, my thoughts are becoming clearer and more focused.

Beer is proof God Loves us :)

I noticed we don't have a thread to show some of the neat things we make for meals. So post them on up here.

Here's todays for me. One of the local restaurant supply had packs of beef tri-tip on sale. There were 4 of them in the pack. Nice sized fat cap, which is usually removed amywhere else if you can find them.

Fat cap is a must for what I wanted to do. Put on a nice dry rub and smoked them all up today.

I pulled 3 of them off a hour before done. It's at 350° anyway and they can do that cooking in the oven later. I'll vacuum seal and freeze them.

The last one is just about done. Super tender and the smell is killing me.

It's my niece's birthday. She made spaghetti, ordered chicken from a Korean fast food joint, deep-fried pork spring roll, and a big tub of vanilla ice cream.

Day 4 of my Beer fast

I miss Coffee and FOOD, like a big ole juicy T-Bone Medium Rare, Baked potato, with cheddar cheese, butter, sour cream, chives, salt and pepper and maybe a nice side of steamed brussel sprouts, smothered in butter with a dash of salt

1 more day to go.

Saturday morning I'm making a big ole pot of coffee, pancakes, sausage & eggs and sausage gravy and biscuits, maybe a small bowl of grits (NO SUGAR of course) . :drool

I cooked a pork roast for supper last night. Today's lunch: pulled pork sandwiches with sauteed onions and Sweet Baby Raye's. Enough pork left for several sandwich meals, and at least one main meal. Gotta love cook it once, "enjoy many more times" meals.
