bar food is the best in FL!! There is an Irish Pub across from my moms in the keys, AMAZING FOOD, and of course beer. And alot of bars around there are next to the docks so they buy fish off the captain's and cook up some good grub! And yes if your are not a local some of them can be quite odd walking into them its like you can hear a pin drop and everyone eye is on you....creepy.

My sister lived down in the Keys for about 8 months after she graduated from college. She worked at an Irish Pub. I wonder how many Irish pubs there are down in the keys, or if it could be the same one. It was many years ago.

There are some in Key West. The one i am referring to in Tavernier. Were i grew up. You never know it could be the same one!! This one is called Dillions. Very well known by locals.

Holy Cannolli! This is the best stuff EVER!

Very easy to make and really, really good. I didn't have the spinach and instead of heavy cream I used evaporated milk and sour cream... I see lotsa possibilities with this in the future. Oh...we ate it over zucchini noodles. Oh...I didn't have sun dried tomatoes either so I used fresh cherry tomatoes. Heck, is this recipe even relevant or did just invent something different? LOL!

I made enough lunch today to have leftovers for dinner. Fried pepper, mushrooms, onion and bacon with some crumbed feta mixed with pasta. Went perfect with 2 large stuffed mushrooms I picked up cheaply at Tesco.
