Making the pepper soup fresh. Even though we have canned.
Wife is somewhat motivated to take some interest in working through the freezers and using stuff up. I think she wants to buy a side of beef soon. 😀 😃
So instead of tomato sauce (recipe calls for a small can), we used tomato paste. Simmering now. More like a chili that soup. Smells and tastes great

Yesterday DH made a garlic shrimp fettucine with a fancy name from a recipe he saw online. He had to tweak the recipe, it had strange quantities. Enough chili pepper to serve 8, but 5 oz pasta? It was good. I picked out the shrimp and everyone else fought over the extra shrimp :lol:
