With LOTS of good butter :drool I also love sweets.

Sweets -- prefer the larger ones to bake. But having some smaller ones here, I find they're good to slice about 1/2" thick and pan fry in butter works for quick meal.

Often those small ones get lightly cooked in a pot, dumped for chickens & goats after cooled, peel & all.

we just nuke 'em right in the skins. fastest way to do it IMO.

I nuke in summer but bake in winter...heat in house ok then. They taste & texture better if baked, IMO. I have an old river 😁 and the wooden pusher, too. Prob 60 yr old & not used in last 40😁
