Ham & pineapple needs a white sauce, not red. 🤨

you can do your own thing, i for one shall not worry about such abominations... <- humor... i am not picky, i could eat a white sauce ham and pineapple pizza and enjoy it, but my own preferences are starkly in a more flagrant or fragrant direction. red or dead. viva la tomatoeaaaieeeeee!

it's like, we used to get these pizzas at this one place, i always liked them, very tame, the pizza had some regular toppings like onions and mushrooms and then we added cheddar cheese and shrimp. shrimp being very delicate in flavor it was kind of lost on that pizza but we ate it anyways. by contrast we also had a saurkraut and double italian sausage (the like of which i've never been able to duplicate or find again since then :( ) on a whole wheat crust. we'd be burping that up the rest of the day but we loved it. so many times at that restaurant the new waitstaff would tell us we couldn't order that pizza but the kitchen staff had it down and would make it for us. it stunk the place up when they brought it to the table. it was one of the funnest places and we made a regular habit of going there. and then it burnt down. :( after some years of wrangling it was rebuilt and reopened as a brewpub and fern bar sort of place. the menu and food wasn't the same at all. we went once and i've not been back since. note we're talking an 7-10 hour drive from here so it's not easy to visit these days... my body is not keen on such long trips any more.

oh, they also made a good cheeseburger pizza (including dill pickles, cheese, ground beast, onions, etc - i would put yellow mustard on mine)...

now i'm hungry. :)
