Made chicken salad last evening. Home canned chicken, pepper relish, home grown onion. Store bought mayo ☺️ Tonight TBD. Thinking ham & mac/cheese.

all sounds delicious. :)

last night was very simple for me, i just reheated some macaroni and tomatoes and piled some butter on.

Went on a limb & hard boiled 8 eggs. Hate the peeling! But these were a week old, I added baking soda to water and they peeled well. 👍 Made egg salad. NOW I'm thinking, why didn't you save 2 for some potato salad? 😖 Oh, well 🫢

Had an egg salad sandwich. 🤷

I make eggs for hubby for his lunch. No issues peeling usually. Start with boiling water and refriderated eggs. 12 minutes. Drain and while filling with cold water I crack the eggs all around and put back in cold water. Peel while warm.

Takes a couple hours for the eggs to chill, but even laid that day don't usually have issues. I've had hens that just laid problem eggs. One had whites that always stuck to the membrane. Those were a pain in the rear to scoop it out and use the egg. I never boiled them.
