For the most part, I'm a plain ol' coffee kind of gal, winter and summer. But during the long, cold nights of winter, I don't need tons of caffeine. Sometimes I'll drink hot tea....other times just hot water with a bit of lemon or orange juice, cinnamon, cloves, whatever sounds good at the time.

I think I need some new ideas! What do you drink?

I like two kinds:

Black English Tea with Ground Mint

OR

An orange-cranberry tea mom makes, that is awesome!

Apple Pie.

Put 1 Gallon of fresh cider in a large pot, with about a dozen cinnamon sticks and barely bring it to a simmer. Let it cool, and add 1 fifth of Junior Johnsons Moonshine.
If you want Apple Pie Ala mode, add some vanilla to it.

Your welcome. :D

Hot tea ... and not just in the winter. Hot, black, strong tea ... a teapot full made first thing in the morning; between DH and me we will go through that once, and refill with more water for a second go 'round. In the evenings if I need something hot I will usually have some herbal tea. If its very cold, and if I am feeling a bit under the weather, I'll have some Irish whiskey mixed with hot water. Mulled wine or cider is nice too, but I usually only think of that at Christmas. DH likes hot chocolate sometimes.

Nothing beats coffee! However I kicked the addiction except for school days :p

Whole milk - little bit of raw honey - little bit of cinnamon - little bit of vanilla - gently warmed. Wonderful.
