Who am I? And who are you?

Just got home from KY, to find this thread...Hmmm, I never really "pictured" anyone.
Bee, you I sorta do...I think of someone with a sunny smile...strong hands, and a firm grip. Someone who is not afraid of hard work..but loves to have friends and family around her.

That's funny! That's how I pictured YOU! Sunny days and flannel, soft wool and green, green grass...you smell like fresh cut hay to me. Quick to laugh, quick to cry, quick to help a friend in need and quick to cut down anyone who threatens your way of life. A good friend and a floating trip down a lazy river....just for the fun of it.

But you come the closest of anyone...I'm known here abouts for my sunny disposition and cheerful demeanor. I love to laugh. I'm a hugger and toucher of my family and people who know me well.

I can work hard one day and be the laziest creature in the world the next...won't even take off my nightgown when I am in serious relaxation mode. Too lazy to hate but not too lazy to fight for what I feel is right. Loyal to a fault to my true friends...will go any distance to help them, nurture them, restore them.

I like peace and quiet but enjoy a party too~I'm the one everyone thinks is drinking but I haven't touched a drop~I'm high on life, you know! I love to read...addicted to reading anything and everything I can get my hands on~but never romances. Can't shut my mind down at night.

Don't let too many people into the middle of my soul anymore...not anymore.

No homeschooling. Public school but I will be honest Id rather be homeschooled, sometimes.

Barred, it's not your age that matters, but your knowledge. I'm one that believes you can learn from everyone, even little children. (Not that I'm saying you're one.) But often young people see things in a way an older person cannot see because of what all they need to deal w/on a day to day basis.

My hubby said I am like a Rose...nice to look at, sweet, but watch for the thorns underneath! Hmmm, not sure of that was a compliment or not.???

I dont make a habit of crying...not in front of people. Well, unless a friend is in need, and crying...when my friends hurt, I hurt, then I get mad at whoever or whatever hurt them! Then...ITS ON!

Well golly gee.
I don't even take MYSELF seriously, BUT I've been shrugged off because of my age many times, so I know how it is.
I do not plan to treat anyone any differently than I usually do. Black, white, purple, overweight, tall, left handed, anorexic. It's all good here!

You however are an old soul, too!

I agree with Deb. Children do not know, they just ARE, and in my opinion often the best teachers of all. I talk to children, animals, adults, etc. all the same! well.. ok, I admit I get gushy at baby goats.
