I don't really know many people, but those I have more encounters with:

I had BarredBuff pegged as young, but I was off by about 2yrs. Totally impressed with the knowledge.

Blackbird I had not seen pics of previously, so I had images of pitch black, thick, shiny, lustrous hair. Ok so I missed on the color . BB was one of the only posters to me on BYH that didn't blast me for asking a question.

Farmfresh- brown hair, sturdy grip, strong heart, generous hands. Knowledge to spare and patience to give it.


Farmerchick - flannel shirts, jeans, hairpulled back, dirt on her hands, sweat on her brow and a determined smile.

OFG - ponytail through a baseball cap, smile to light up a room and laughter like a mountain stream. Strong but compassionate; tough as nails until a kitten, puppy or any other baby animal comes on the scene (except pigs ) Her posts feel like walking barefoot in summer grass.

Bee - knowledge packed in a keg of gunpowder - intimidating but worth the risk.

3 things about me that most dont know?? Well........
1) Every time I see a small animal dead on the road, I say a little prayer, that it didnt suffer. :/ I know, corny.
2) I am(part) Native American...and will be building my Medicine Wheel this summer.
3) I used to practice Wicca...and still carry the beliefs.

3 things you don't know about me.

1. When I was little, I wanted to be an Indian when I grew up. But since that was impossible, instead, I got my BS in biology.

2. If I work at it, I can speak some Spanish, French and German. I worked w/Puerto Ricans for 2.5 years, and will still answer in Spanish for certain questions, had a year of French in college, and a semester of German.

3. I like music played in a minor key.
