I was an AMS airman in the Navy. I was medically retired out. My husband retired as an AT3 from the Navy a few years ago.

Retired US Army as a CH47 (Chinook) Helicopter Inspector 66U in 1988.

Since then, working as a contractor doing the same job.

So as I see it, still serving.

Son currently serving in the US Army, MOS is intel. Believe current rate is an e5.

Dad was a Marine and signed up at 16.

Now is retired Lt. Colonel.


I thought long and hard about the service when younger. Dad said as much as it was good for him and he learned computer programming from the Marines, and the experience would be wonderful, he said go into computers :) which I did.
