Why would a dog do this?!

The only time you would normally see a dog's eyes dilated is when INTENSELY excited for something. Usuallly a dog this intense is quivering and its teeth are chattering. This is the only behavioral reason I can think of.

Sounds best to get into the vet in the morning if you don't discover an obvious reason for the odd behavior and arousal tonight. Cheaper to prevent or catch it early!

Sounds like she is in pain, or some noise is hurting her ears.
