You got the best heat there is. We have a wood/coal stove also but I ain't hooked it up yet. The house really doesn't have any room for it.
That's all I use for heating this house, apart from letting DS put the little fan heater in his bedroom for a bit in the evenings. I love the wood stove's heat and when I load it with coal, you can't stand near it for too long, you'll burn yourself.

I keep gas for the generator at all times, but it's wood heat here. House was built in 1900.

There is a space heater in the bathroom because I hate stepping out of the shower into cold.

It's 50 and drizzle. This is actually pretty normal weather for this time of year. It's been a weirdly dry year. We're so far behind normal in rain it isn't funny

We had a tiny bit of sleet yesterday and rain most of the day, gosh it bucketed down at one point. Today is dry, but overcast and 12C (53F) :idunno

15° F last night. It's clear skies right now so cold. Once our normal clouds come back, we should be just above freezing.

Our refrigerator went out yesterday. We put stuff we wanted to save in the back of my wife's CRV. Got down to 22 last night. I told my wife I think this the first time we used a car as a refrigerator . It's 36 right now and I'm waiting for the delivery guys to bring a new refrigerator.
