Almost Self-Reliant
I am using mine right now. I soaked some field peas a while, in a cassarole dish....real hot like. And then I made a roux and sauteed an onion in it and changed out the water in the field peas and got it pipping hot again and poured it in the roux with extra water and seasonings and cooked a few minutes and now its just sitting there, doing its magic.....well, I think it is anyway. Only thing is, I am using cast iron....deadset against using magnalite.
